My name is Jaide, I'm 18, from Australia and am currently running a blog through the social network of tumblr. I was motivated to create my blog after being disturbed by the number of tumblr blogs that focused on skinny "perfect" chicks by posting photos of models and skinny girls in bikinis. There were even blogs dedicated to eating disorders and self-harm! So, I decided to create a blog promoting positive self-esteem/confidence. It is http://you--are--beautiful.tumblr.com/ I am currently working on a couple of projects in order to support my mission of making girls feel beautiful. For example, I am going to create a "No Make-up Day" or something similar and also promote a "Random Acts of Kindness Week". I am still in the planning process of them.
