Fruity Holiday Cider Recipe

I will now unveil this week's surprise that has to do with pineapple juice. I've had a hankering for this fruity cider stuff that my mom makes every year around the holidays, so I decided to share her AMAZING recipe with you, my faithful reader. It's incredibly simple to make, and is the perfect drink to serve at a holiday party or even just a small gathering of friends. Give it a try, it will change your life.

Fruity Holiday Cider

8 cups apple cider
4 cups pineapple juice
4 cups cranberry juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
8 cloves
4 cinnamon sticks

1) Mix apple cider, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice together in a large coffee pot that has a basket, OR add them together in a large cooking pot on the stove and use a strainer over the pot for a basket.

2) Add brown sugar, cloves and cinnamon sticks to the basket or strainer, and let simmer for several hours.

3) Serve hot with yummy cookies or bread. Enjoy! Tags:
